We have arrived!

13:05 in the evening: after a loooong flight (approx. 10 hours) across the Atlantic and was a very quick entry at the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport to our connecting flight west over the "Mighty Mississippi" gen Dallas, Texas. Some of the North Louisiana, we were allowed to fly a holding pattern and the same times from the cockpit came the announcement that this would result from "some weather moving into the Dallas area" to be :-). Obviously there more thunderstorms were active. Looking outside offered us on the last part of the way then an impressive picture. Everywhere were great CB's (for non-specialists: storm clouds) around, the pilot navigated about 20 minutes quite smooth around her, not without us a great view of an anvil bottom Mammatus together to deliver. An updraft tower, he scraped it and then it jerked time quite well. The pictures below are still images recorded by Julian, he made off the plane out.

Upon arrival at DFW Airport, we will soon govern the "car-rental business" (it is a big Jeep Grand Cherokee, can see how) and then greeted us for the first time the beautiful Plains moist air, (T / Td: 23/20) :-) and we knew we finally arrived, and almost at home ;-). Julian and I came for the evening then off, nor our fellow Chaser Felix and Eric and committed Felix's birthday with a Walmart-Cherry-Pie, which could eat reasonably. The gallons Gatorade and the donuts were not missing us to the upcoming trips to sweeten something.

Today now (say Monday morning) we continue north of Kansas, where we expect the evening a squall line, including storm and nice lightning show. The ride is a little longer, there are times that is just 500 miles, we tear down for it. There

morning's then a new story of the storm-Wonderland ...

Ciao,

Lars, Felix, Eric, Julian
