D as Pearl Jam concert at the Kindl-Bühne in Berlin, in the Wuhlheide was great! The location is really remarkable - and I had the impression that the protagonists had more enthusiasm and good humor than at indoor events. It was the fifth time I've seen PJ live - every time it creates the cult band me to inspire at anew. Pearl Jam is still one of the best live bands on the planet.
We sailed about six clock going in the direction of Köpenick. The flowing into the Wuhlheide audience was fairly international, everywhere one could hear Polish, English, Czech, Dutch, and any Scandinavian languages. We walked about 10 minutes through the forest and arrived at the starting gates - the organization was there with surprising speed - except that the bar code on my ticket did not scan first. That was successful, however, and we enjoyed a short time later, a first look at this amphitheater in the woods.
The queues at the beer stands deterred us first and we went for the first time in the interior. The nice thing about the Kindl-Bühne, is that you really TRACE with open seating may be made anywhere - which is also not a major problem during the concert. Even the drinks stands can be seen on the stage and the inevitable transition to the toilet may cost just two minutes. Accordingly, pleasant and stress-free was the mood among the viewers. For even more relaxation likely it is audible throughout the joints have taken care of.
From Gomez we still got a few songs with - and I liked what I heard. They made a good impression. And then - shortly after the sun slowly disappeared the evening sky - Ginger's happening at last. This was followed by a half hours best concert entertainment, as I am used to in PJ.
Eddie Vedder was in a extremely good and you could feel how comfortable the band on the stage felt Kindl. The atmosphere was excellent and I ran regular goose bumps on the body than the 17 000 who sang along one or another song entirely. Mr. Vedder irritated then the security personnel on the scene when he suddenly jumped into the mass . In the meantime, he delighted the fans with a few words of German read aloud - and you can probably assume that the planning of the next tour will also Berlin Wuhlheide included.
It is also clear that I will be here then - like the Kindl-Bühne me better than any indoor event.
