D as Pearl Jam concert at the Kindl-Bühne in Berlin, in the Wuhlheide was great! The location is really remarkable - and I had the impression that the protagonists had more enthusiasm and good humor than at indoor events. It was the fifth time I've seen PJ live - every time it creates the cult band me to inspire at anew. Pearl Jam is still one of the best live bands on the planet.

We sailed about six clock going in the direction of Köpenick. The flowing into the Wuhlheide audience was fairly international, everywhere one could hear Polish, English, Czech, Dutch, and any Scandinavian languages. D s praise of the U2 concert in Gelsenkirchen Veltins-Arena ( here and here ) I can connect fully, it was great last night !

U2 I had been to Cologne (Müngersdorfer Stadium Zooropa tour and Butzweiler court Popmart ) experienced live. Both concerts were at the stage where construction is probably the most elaborate that one has ever built for a tour. So also this time in Gelsenkirchen. But the style of this band is also in view of the stage design more than timely. Probably makes that what the continuing success of U2: they set trends, does not stick in the past and reinventing itself again and again. This giant spider-like monster with a 360-degree video screen, should probably move into all the major events of this kind take, was so impressive that they forgot at times on the stage and the actual main character to look.

It came to me time after time goose bumps - and with not only the old popular songs - I found myself, as I looked stunned in this mass of 75,000 people and the smile did not go away from my face. A fantastic atmosphere! Magnificent also that they are so old songs like "Unforgettable Fire" for the best grade, a song that I have a young guy in England as long inveigled on "Walkman" until I bluteteten ears. Another sign of which generation I belong to, then followed by "One": No more lighters, cell phones are today held up - which really looks much more colorful and impressive!
In short, the two-hour stage show, the brilliant musical power, set list and the audience led to an experience that I really do not want to miss - although I was rather spontaneous and happened to get a card. 44 euro cost me the evening. And even the "traffic chaos" before and after the event did not bother me in the least. It was a great evening!
